In addition to the pattern-test loads, I also ran Federal Field and Target 2¾-inch and Remington Premier Duplex Magnum 4×6 3-inch ammo through the gun. 2.75 slugs out of my Tac-14 was eye-opening, and the muzzle blast was something else. You can theoretically shoot any slug out of a Shockwave, as long as it’s a 3 or shorter shell. Payton Miller Federal’s Truball delivered 1-inch groupings. Payton Miller Augila’s minishells put 8 of 11 pellets inside a 10-inch circle. Federal 2 3/4-inch 00 Buckshot pattern was slight low of point of aim.
